Our midwife has told us that when her daughter would hit milestones it would be like a switch. One day she wasn’t crawling, the next day she was. Other friends have told us similar stories. Darwin defies such narratives. For the past week or so she has been doing an army crawl/push with her toes. It’s slow and steady and has put most of the house in her reach. Assuming we were to ignore her for about two hours. Her most proud moment was reaching the dog water dish. My proud moment was realizing that it had been washed recently enough that there wasn’t stuff floating in it.
